United Way of Central Oklahoma (UWCO) is proud to be recognized with the 2026 Legacy of Hope Award from Partner Agency Heartline, Inc.
The Legacy of Hope Award honors extraordinary individuals or organizations whose inspiration, dedication and meaningful contributions have advanced the mission of HeartLine in remarkable ways.
HeartLine has been a UWCO Partner Agency for more than 40 years, and the partnership allows more Oklahomans to find help, resources and hope when they need it most.
“This award symbolizes community impact, and United Way wouldn’t exist without our incredible Partner Agencies who specialize in that effort every day,” said Rachel C. Holt, UWCO President and CEO. “HeartLine and 211 effectively and efficiently connects our neighbors with available resources, and we are so proud to have a role in assisting with that process.”
Most recently, UWCO supported efforts to restore state funding for HeartLine’s 211 service, helping secure its future for the thousands of individuals and families who rely on it each year.
“For United Way to receive the Legacy of Hope Award is a recognition of the community aspect of United Way. It recognizes our team that works in the building, our incredible board, hundreds of volunteers, thousands of donors and the work of our Partner Agencies,” said Holt. “The legacy of it is bigger than United Way of Central Oklahoma, it’s the legacy of the community.”
