United Way of Canadian County (UWCC) announced its 2025 fundraising total during the annual Campaign Celebration event Jan. 30. This year’s campaign raised $313,347, which will be invested on behalf of donors to support programs addressing the community’s health and human service needs.
The total surpassed UWCC’s campaign goal of $250,000 and exceeded previous campaign records.
“It’s remarkable to witness how wholeheartedly our supporters and board members rally behind this community,” said Sam Sims, board president. “When you give to United Way, you become part of real, lasting impact. Our 2025 Campaign donors understood that and showed up in extraordinary ways. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to our Partner Agencies.”
The Celebration, which was hosted at the Redlands Community College in El Reno, honored:
- Visionary Leader – Tangi Smith
- Excellence in Employee Engagement – Piedmont Public Schools
- Innovation & Impact – Calm Construction, Midwest Bus Sales, Omega Power, Thrive Insurance- Chad Endres
- Crystal Achievement – Devon Energy
- Outstanding Allocations Volunteer – Christy Eichholz
Tangi Smith and Brian Heim were also recognized for their efforts as the 2025 Campaign Co-Chairs.
UWCC allocates donor dollars into the community through 13 Partner Agencies. Funds raised through UWCC remain in the county. All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure contributions are properly invested with the highest level of accountability.
