United Way of Central Oklahoma is excited to announce this year’s 2024 Day of Caring will follow The Hole Shebang!, our annual fundraising cornhole tournament.
United Way’s annual Day of Caring is one of the community’s largest volunteer events where corporate volunteer teams are matched with special volunteer projects at our Partner Agencies. Approximately 1,000 volunteers open their hearts and lend a hand to this event while wearing specially ordered Day of Caring T-shirts.
This year, Our Blood Institute (OBI) and Donable Cares have partnered with UWCO to support Day of Caring and the annual campaign through blood donations. Individuals and companies may sign up via a unique, year-round United Way QR code to donate blood at any OBI location within the region. With each blood donation scheduled and completed through United Way’s QR code, Donable Cares contributes $15 to UWCO.
