It contains profiles of agencies from Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, Mc Clain and Pottawatomie Counties. Searches may be done by category or alphabetical. Lists are included for food pantries, volunteer opportunities, Handicap Accessible, Zipcode, Spanish Translator availability, United Way Agencies, support groups and help lines.
The 2006 online edition of the Directory of Community Services has been expanded and upgraded, making it even more useful, convenient and comprehensive. As the area's leading information resource about health and human services for children, youth, adults, seniors and families, the Directory now features:
Comprehensive profiles of approximately 500 health and human service agencies and organizations, which include services, eligibility requirements, application procedures, hours, fees and areas served;
Regional coverage in seven counties -- Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma and Pottawatomie counties
Information about more than 1,000 support services/programs, including counseling, low-cost health clinics, drug and alcohol treatment, emergency food and housing, employment programs, legal aid and parks and recreation programs
