How can I be sure my gift is spent wisely?
Local volunteers study community needs, set goals, review budgets and strictly monitor agencies to make sure that donated dollars are spent wisely. United Way of Central Oklahoma adheres to stringent standards of accounting and financial reporting set forth by the board of directors.

Why should I give to United Way instead of a single agency?
No single agency can meet all community needs. When you give to United Way, you help more than just one person and help meet more than just one need. Your donation creates a community safety net. Through United Way, a variety of local resources come together to address and solve vital health and human service needs in central Oklahoma.

I give to the campaign but I don’t live in a participating county. Does United Way of Central Oklahoma provide services to me?
Many residents of nearby counties who commute to the Metro Area are an important part of United Way of of Central Oklahoma´s financial support and outreach services. Many generously give to the annual campaign and also use programs and services of United Way partner agencies.

Who does United Way of Central Oklahoma serve?
United Way of Central Oklahoma proudly serves Oklahoma City, Moore, Edmond, Midwest City, Del City, Yukon, Mustang, Guthrie, and all or parts of Oklahoma, Logan, Canadian, Kingfisher, Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties (see map).
